The Asian market grew a robust 13% in 2024, building on its remarkable 195% rebound in 2023 after the prolonged impact of COVID-19’s devastation. A total of 2.6 million Asians took cruises to destinations worldwide last year. While still well below the peak of 2018 (4.2 million passengers) and the strong result in 2019 (3.7 million), it is clear that Asia is again embracing cruising.
