Andrea Hoffman

Andrea “Andy” Hoffman is Vice President of Strategic Communications at Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). She drives global communications initiatives that advance CLIA’s maritime policy and government affairs priorities. Her responsibilities include messaging, content development, executive positioning, media relations, social media, special projects, and coordination across CLIA’s members and global network. Her work enhances stakeholder relationships and strengthens the industry’s reputation.

She brings over 25 years of experience in government affairs, advocacy, crisis management, and communications and political strategy. She has guided Fortune 100 companies, trade associations, policymakers, and CEOs in achieving objectives on global business and policy issues, including tax, trade, technology, cybersecurity, defense, energy, finance, immigration, research, and education.

She has worked with Congress, the Administration, the EU, and the UK Government, with experience in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and North America. She is recognized for bipartisan credibility and for aligning communications, policy, politics, and reputation to deliver results.

Andy earned a degree in economics and international relations from George Mason University and is based in Washington, DC.
