Contribution of Cruise Tourism to the Canadian Economy 2024

In this report, we examine how the cruise industry in 2024 generated economic impacts in Canada. This includes analysis of the cruise industry’s impact on six provinces with oceangoing cruise itineraries, namely, British Columbia, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island.

Combined, the report illustrates a total impact of CAD $5.1 billion, supporting 24k jobs and among them CAD $1.4 billion in wages.
