    CLIA ANNOUNCES CROISIEUROPE AS NEW GLOBAL CRUISE LINE MEMBER

    Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has announced CroisiEurope, Europe’s largest river cruise line, has joined as a Global Cruise Line Member. CLIA now has 27 global cruise line members. As a CLIA Global Cruise Line Member, cruise lines are offered a range of benefits, including access to CLIA travel agent and agency members, and marketing and promotional activities across CLIA’s 15 offices around the world.

    Nominations Are Open for the Eleventh Annual CLIA Hall Of Fame Awards

    Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has opened nominations for the eleventh annual CLIA Hall of Fame Awards recognizing individuals, both past and present, whose efforts and accomplishments represent a significant contribution to the cruise industry.     CRUISE LINES INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES PRESIDENT & CEO TRANSITION PLANS

    Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) today announced the transition plan for the organization following the departure of Christine Duffy, President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 31, 2015. In the interim, newly appointed Global CLIA Chairman Adam M. Goldstein, President and COO of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., will serve as the official spokesperson for the organization. Cindy D’Aoust, Executive Vice President of Membership and Operations, will assume and oversee the management of U.S. operations and the leadership teams in the Washington, DC, and Fort Lauderdale, FL, offices.

    CLIA CRUISE3SIXTY CONFERENCE CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF SUCCESS, FOCUS ON FUTURE GROWTH

    One of the largest-ever number of industry delegates attended Cruise Lines International Association’s (CLIA) 10th Anniversary cruise3sixty conference and trade show April 2-6, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. More than 1,800 delegates were registered for the annual event, which focuses on helping CLIA member agents boost their cruise industry knowledge and sales. Attendees hailed from across the United States, as well as Canada, Australia, Germany, Cayman Islands, Netherlands Antilles, Brazil, New Zealand, Kenya, Nigeria, China, British Virgin Islands and Malaysia.
