Offering 15 Credits toward CLIA Certification, ‘40 Best Practices for Travel Agent Success’ is 36th Course to go Virtual
Fort Lauderdale, FL — April 18, 2012 — Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) today launched its 36th online training seminar – “40 Best Practices for Travel Agent Success.” The three-hour session, when successfully completed, represents 15 credits toward CLIA Cruise Counselor Certification.
“The ‘40 Best Practices for Travel Agent Success’ seminar distills hundreds of tactics, strategies and practices culled from all of CLIA’s training programs into what we consider the most important ideas or recommendations for business success,” said Bernie Blomquist, CLIA’s Director of Training. “We urge all agents to find out what these practices are and how they can be made to work most effectively.”
The new seminar is the 36th to be put on line by CLIA’s training department; 28 are 15 credit courses, the others offer 10 credits each. Most courses have a study time of 90 minutes to three hours. Together they reflect CLIA’s commitment to make training and Certification convenient, accessible and affordable to as many agents as possible, no matter where they reside.
CLIA training programs offer Certification as an Accredited Cruise Counselor, Master Cruise Counselor, Elite Cruise Counselor, Elite Cruise Counselor Scholar, Luxury Cruise Specialist, and Accredited Cruise Manager. CLIA Certification, according to the agents who have achieved at least one designation, is a proven success in increasing cruise sales by an average of 261 percent.
