    CLIA Commends International Maritime Organization for Adopting Robust Worldwide Guidelines on Preservation of Evidence and Care of Persons Affected

    Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) today commended the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) Legal Committee for adopting at its recent meeting in London a proposal which CLIA co-sponsored on international standards for crime reporting, cooperation between governments, evidence preservation and care for victims.

    Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) announced today that the ninth annual cruise3sixty conference and trade show is reaching near sell-out status, with nearly 1,300 national and international travel selling professionals registered to attend the event set for June 19-23 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

    CLIA Announces 2013 Ccruise Industry Hall of Fame Inductees

    Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has announced three inductees into the 2013 Cruise Industry Hall of Fame. Honored at the Hall of Fame Dinner & Awards gala at the ninth annual cruise3sixty conference at the Vancouver Convention Centre will be: Mark Conroy, executive advisor for Prestige Cruise Holdings and past president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Michelle Fee, CEO of CruisePlanners, and Michael Drever, past president, CEO and founder of Expedia CruiseShipCenters.

    CLIA Names Thomas Fischetti Chief Financial Officer

    Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) today announced that it has named Thomas Fischetti to the position of chief financial officer, reporting to CLIA President and CEO Christine Duffy. His responsibilities for the global cruise industry trade association include financial management, accounting, contracting and internal controls, IT, human resources and oversight of the association’s facilities.
