CRUISE LINES INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION SELECTS SOUTH FLORIDA LOCATION

NEW YORK, November 30, 2006 - The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) will move its headquarters from New York City to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with the office operational in January 2007, said Terry L. Dale, CLIA's president and CEO. It was previously announced that CLIA would merge with sister organization, the International Council of Cruise Lines (ICCL), and relocate to South Florida where the majority of its member cruise lines are located.

Dale also announced the senior management who will head the newly merged organization, including executive vice presidents: J. Michael Crye, responsible for technical and regulatory affairs, and Robert Sharak, overseeing marketing and distribution.

The new CLIA team also includes Captain Ted Thompson, vice president, technical and regulatory affairs; Tom Cogan, director of training; Stan Deno, director of operations; Christine Fischer, director of public relations; and Bob Fuller, director of finance.

Sharak, Cogan and Fuller are well-known CLIA veterans. Crye, Thompson, Deno and Fischer comprised the executive leadership at ICCL. Due to their government relations responsibilities, Crye and Thompson will operate from a CLIA satellite office in metropolitan Washington, D.C.

According to Dale, "Without question, the synergy and shared energy, skill and experience created by meshing the respective talents of this team of professionals will benefit all of our stakeholders including the cruise lines, our travel agency partners, regulators and legislators as well as the many businesses that the cruise industry interacts with."

CLIA's new office will be located at 910 SE 17th Street, just minutes from Port Everglades, the port for Greater Fort Lauderdale.
