2012 Hall of Fame Nominations Information
What is the CLIA Hall of Fame?
The CLIA Hall of Fame is a formal recognition to honor those individuals past and present, whose efforts and accomplishments represent a significant contribution to or noteworthy achievement that has positively affected the development of the business of cruise vacations.
In each category nominations should be made based upon the following:
- Did the nominee's accomplishments change or affect the cruise industry in a positive way?
- Can the nominee be considered a role model?
- What did the nominee accomplish that sets them apart from others?
Who can I nominate for consideration into the CLIA Hall of Fame?
The efforts of many individuals have contributed to the overall success of the cruise vacation industry. The 2012 CLIA Hall of Fame will recognize up to three awards each from the following categories:
Cruise Retailer
Candidates must be a travel agency founder, owner, or seller of cruise vacationswho meet the qualifications noted above.
Cruise Line Executive
Candidates must be a present or past Executives with a CLIA Member Cruise Line.
Cruise Sales Innovator
Candidates must be a cruise vacation retailer who stands out as an innovator as it relates to pioneering unique strategies, ideas, and programs that have led to successful cruise sales which have made an impact on growing the cruise vacation segment.

How do I nominate an individual into CLIA’s Hall of Fame?
Nominations will be accepted until February 15, 2012. Nominations will be collected and reviewed by CLIA’s Trade Engagement Committee which is comprised of Senior Sales Executives from CLIA’s Member Cruise Lines. Announcements of inductees to CLIA's 2012 Hall of Fame will take place during CLIA's cruise3sixty conference in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, April 25-30, 2012.
